Luan, or Loan in Vietnamese, is a legendary bird in East Asian mythology. It is often confused with the Phượng Hoàng (Phoenix) due to their many stylistic similarities. In certain folklores, it's said that the Phoenix gave birth to the Luan, which has five colored feathers and resembles a chicken. The Luan Bird and ornate symbols were inspired by Nguyen princesses' imperial robes.
